Scouting is an international youth movement that develops young people through adventure, skill-building and personal development. The Program is adventurous, fun, challenging and inclusive, delivered whilst enjoying physical activity in an outdoors environment.
In Scouts we empower young people to make decisions, take the lead and learn by doing. We provide a safe space where they can work with others to plan and embark on their own adventures.
The Scout Program is structured so that every young person has an opportunity to develop at their own pace in areas that interest them. The program develops leadership skills from an early age with responsibilities increasing as they progress through five sections spanning the ages 5 to 25 years.
“Scouting delivers to our communities, resilient young people who have gained leadership experience, are physically active and care for others.”
